1932 Chrysler This 1932 Chrysler CP8 4 door sedan is in for a partial, mechanical restoration. The car was undependable for regular use and hemorrhaging all fluids. The goal is to make this car a dependable driver. This group of 6 photos shows the general condition of the car on arrival to our shop. 1932 Chrysler

932 Chrysler The photos left and right show the engine, transmission and front fenders removed. From left to right below, the first 3 photos are of the broken starter bellcrank. It has been repaired and readied for re-casting. The last photo shows parts in the booth, ready for paint. 932 Chrysler

932 Chrysler The photos left and right show that the bottom of the gas tank had to be removed as it was badly damaged. There is damage to the inside. Repairs are made and a new bottom panel will be fabricated and welded in place. Below, the left 2 photos show more parts being primed and painted for the chassis. The last 2 photos as well as some in the next group show the process of replacing the rotted frame panel. A cardboard pattern is made. 932 Chrysler
